Is it right for me?

Who is it for?

For anyone who wants smoother, firmer skin and a fresher, more youthful appearance. Perhaps your skin feels less firm than it used to, make-up settles into fine lines, or visible pores and acne scars leave your complexion looking uneven.

Vivace stimulates your skin’s own collagen production, helping improve firmness and texture over time. Treatments are tailored to your face, neck or body — whether you want to soften signs of ageing, smooth the appearance of scars or improve stretch marks and crepey skin following pregnancy or weight changes.

Common concerns

Vivace may be right for you if you have:

  • Skin that feels less firm

Mild looseness on the face, neck or body, where your skin has lost some of its firmness.

  • Fine lines or crepey skin

Lines becoming more noticeable, or skin that looks thin and finely wrinkled.

  • Acne scars

Small indentations or uneven skin left behind after breakouts have healed.

  • Enlarged pores or uneven texture

Visible pores, roughness or skin that looks less smooth than you’d like.

  • Stretch marks

Marks on the stomach, thighs or other areas following pregnancy, growth or weight changes.

The science

What is Vivace & how does it work?

Vivace is an advanced RF microneedling treatment designed to improve skin firmness, smooth uneven texture and soften signs of ageing by stimulating your skin’s own renewal process.

The handpiece uses 36 tiny, gold-plated needles to create precise microchannels in the skin. These needles deliver radiofrequency energy at a carefully selected depth, producing controlled heat within the skin. Together, the microneedling and heat stimulate the natural repair response, encouraging the production of new collagen and elastin.

Collagen gives skin its structure and firmness, while elastin helps it stretch and spring back. As the skin rebuilds over the following weeks and months, it can become firmer and smoother, with improvements in fine lines, visible pores and the appearance of scars and stretch marks.

The needle depth and energy settings are tailored to your skin, treatment area and concerns, allowing us to target different needs across the face, neck and body.

  • Avoid rubbing, scratching or picking the treated skin.

When will I see results?

You may notice an initial change after your first session, but the main improvements develop gradually as your skin produces new collagen.

Changes in firmness and texture build over the following weeks and months, with results often becoming clearer around three months. A course of treatments usually gives a more noticeable improvement than a single session, although individual responses vary.

How is Vivace different from standard microneedling?

Standard microneedling uses tiny needles to stimulate the skin’s natural repair response. Vivace adds radiofrequency energy, delivering controlled heat through the needles into the skin.

This combines the renewal effects of microneedling with additional collagen stimulation from RF heat — making it an option when you want to address skin firmness alongside texture, fine lines or scarring.

Is Vivace painful?

Vivace is considered one of the more comfortable RF microneedling treatments. With numbing cream, most clients describe the sensation as warmth, pressure and light prickling rather than pain.

On a comfort scale, where 0 is no pain and 10 is very painful, Vivace is usually around 3–4/10 while Morpheus is 8-9/10.

Can Vivace help stretch marks?

Yes, Vivace may help soften the appearance of stretch marks and improve the texture of the surrounding skin. It combines microneedling with radiofrequency energy to stimulate collagen production, with the aim of making the skin look smoother and stretch marks less noticeable over time.

Whether your stretch marks appeared after pregnancy, growth or weight changes, we can assess areas such as the tummy, thighs and hips and discuss the improvement you might realistically expect. Older, white stretch marks can also be considered, although results vary depending on their depth, age and your skin’s response.

A course of treatments is usually needed, with improvements developing gradually over the following weeks and months. The goal is smoother-looking skin and softer, less noticeable marks, rather than complete removal.
